Clear for Rainmeter by ep3p Clear for Rainmeter by ep3p
In Windows 8 the font (Segoe) has changed, in my opinion, to worse. The skins won't appear exactly as in the image.

Rainmeter skin. It can change its color automatically to a modified invert color to Aero color. It's thought to be used with a program like Aero Adjuster or Aura, which adjusts Aero color to fit the wallpaper color, great for rotating wallpapers.

The player skin uses the NowPlaying plugin, some players need a special plugin or activate an option, check it at the link.

Used fonts (included with Office, they are copyrighted): Segoe WP Light, Segoe UI Light, Segoe UI Symbol

There are some settings in each .ini file to modify the skins as you wish.

The clock has a translation to Spanish in the .ini file.

The code for the automatic color is separated in a .inc and .lua files, feel free to use them in other skins.

If the configcolor skin appears each time you start Windows, right click and "Unload skin".

Update 24/07/12:

- The progress bar can be clicked to select the position of the track.
- Problem with Play/Pause through CAD fixed.

If there's any problem just comment :boing:

BTW, I didn't have Segoe WP Light installed on Win 7. Found it here: forum.xda-developers.com/showt…

Why do you think I put a link in the description? Was TL;DR for you?

That's funny. I read it, but somehow not realized, that these were links. I have Office 2010 and Segoe WP Light is not there.

this was a long day. I'm 99% ready. I don't need iTunesArtwork folder, what line creates covers in it?

It's automatic if you use iTunes I think.

I just created two skins now. One with title, another one with controls. How do I switch them on mouseover?

It was very difficult, in PlayerMeter.inc there is a meter image called OverTitle.
As you pass the mouse over, this meter activates or desactivates other meters that are in certain groups (Buttons and Title),
it's invisible and as this meter is written after all the meters in the file it's always in front of the rest of meters, this is necessary.
All in the same skin.

And I don't know why I have written DynamicVariables=1 two times :S
Nowadays I don't use Rainmeter very much.
Feel free to use this skin and add the rating if you want :)

What does this expression mean?
Substitute="^(.+$)":". \1"

I think that what the first " " contains it detects any string until the end, and then puts the and a space before it (\1 is for what is detected).
It uses the Regular Expression Options through  Perl Compatible Regular Expressions.
Here's a little guide better explained than the last year u_u

It is great to see the author alive! Thanks for tips. Did you find a better alternative to Rainmeter?
